HOW DO WE BOOK WONDERFUL WEDDINGS?
Start by sending an email HERE on this site. If I'm available on your chosen date, we can have a non-binding meeting in my studio or online if you live further away. If everything aligns, we'll make an agreement. However, the booking is only official once a contract has been filled out and the deposit is paid.
WE AREN'T USED TO HAVING OUR PICTURE TAKEN AND ARE AFRAID IT WILL FEEL STAGED!
Most people feel that way! You shouldn't worry about it. Part of my job is to make you feel relaxed in front of the camera. And not just that, you should also find it fun!
POSED PORTRAITS AREN’T REALLY OUR THING. WE’D PREFER MORE CANDID SHOTS OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
Essentially, we agree together on any particular shots you want or DON'T want. Unless you specifically ask not to have portraits, I think we should at least do a short session. I say this because I believe you might regret it in the future if you opt out completely. I’m sure we can make it feel less staged than you fear. And don't worry, we'll still capture plenty of everything else!
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
In short, everything, depending on the package you choose. Transport within Zealand, preparatory meetings, all the best images edited, a cinematic film, personalized service, etc. For the music, this also includes the necessary sound and lighting equipment for up to 150 people.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
Mainly, we are photography and wedding films. In addition, Wonderful Weddings can be hired to manage the music as a DJ and provide advice on schedules, speeches, etc.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY AS A DJ?
I have two criteria for music. It must be recognizable, and it should be danceable! So, it's all the good old classics but also some of the latest hits. Otherwise, we can just discuss and agree together.
HOW DOES THE PLAYLIST WORK DURING THE DINNER?
I have a small discreet system that I set up. Then I play a playlist suitable for the mood. When speeches happen, I turn off the music and turn it back on when they're done. I always coordinate with your toastmaster on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly. All this can easily be done while capturing beautiful shots for you.
CAN WE REQUEST SONGS IF YOU’RE HANDLING THE MUSIC?
If you've hired me as a DJ, that's absolutely no problem. The same goes for your guests during the party.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET SICK?
It hasn't happened yet! BUT if it does, Wonderful Weddings is a team of several photographers and videographer that work for me. And I will still edit the photos, so they maintain the same "look" as if I had been there. If you've hired me for music, we'll find a solution for that too. Nothing to worry about. My network is huge.
HOW WILL YOU BE DRESSED ON THE DAY?
My team and I always wear presentable clothes to blend in with your guests, at a minimum, a shirt and nice trousers. Because we're more physically active than most guests, in some cases, we might wear shorts, especially if it's very hot. But always nice shorts and paired with a shirt, so we fit in with the guests. If you need us to wear something different, please let us know!
WHAT RESOLUTION WILL WE GET THE PHOTOS IN?
You'll get the files in the highest possible resolution. Some photos might be cropped slightly during editing, but they are at least 3,000 pixels on the longest side, and possibly even 5,000 pixels. This means they can be printed in large sizes and look good on big screens.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
All the good ones! :) I don’t like to specify a number, as it depends on various factors like the length of the day, if you want couple photos of all guests, are you 80 people or 300 people etc. But at least 400 photos, both in color and black/white, for a 8 hour wedding coverage.
HOW MANY OF THE PHOTOS ARE EDITED?
All the photos you receive are post-processed/edited. They'll be cropped, color graded, light-adjusted, etc.
CAN WE ORDER PRINTS FROM YOU?
Of course! :) Wonderful Weddings offers lovely albums, prints on paper, canvases in various sizes, etc.
DO WE GET THE UNEDITED PHOTOS?
Unfortunately, no. Unedited photos aren't finished products. I only provide photos that are 100% complete and perfect. Any photos not provided were discarded because they weren't usable.
HOW LONG BEFORE WE RECEIVE THE FINAL PHOTOS?
All good things come to those who wait :) But I strive to ensure it never takes more than 5-6 weeks. Ideally, even less. BUT you will receive some photos already the week after the wedding, as a sneak peak!
WHAT IF YOUR CAMERA BREAKS ON THE DAY?
There's ALWAYS a backup camera. And extra batteries, memory cards, lenses, etc.
DO WE TALK BEFORE THE WEDDING?
I certainly think we should! It's important that we click since we'll be spending many hours together. Plus, I believe it's crucial for you to fully trust me and my team. You can only achieve that if we spend some time together.
HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD WE SET ASIDE FOR PORTRAITS ON THE DAY?
I advise my couples to allocate about an hour for the portraits. This allows us to slow down and immerse ourselves in the moment, capturing a variety of shots. If you don't want to spend that much time on portraits, we can adjust accordingly.
DO YOU USE THE PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
Social media is vital for my promotion as it allows us to showcase the beautiful work we do. Just like you've seen others' photos, I'd love to display yours to potential clients. So, the answer would be "yes". I'd genuinely appreciate your consent. If you're uncomfortable with this, we can discuss it. No problems there.
